2006 Leadership Award

Dr. Ronald J. Sider
Founder, Evangelicals for Social Action

The Center for Public Justice presented its tenth annual Leadership Award to Dr. Ronald Sider, author of Rich Christians in an Age of Hunger and founder of Evangelicals for Social Action. The award honored his leadership in public life as a scholar and public policy advocate whose decades of service has inspired Christians and others to greater action to address poverty, hunger, and the environmental crisis.

A plaque recognizing his public service as a “pioneering advocate for holistic evangelism and social action” was presented at a luncheon on March 25, 2006, at Washington Community Fellowship in Washington, D.C.
