Jeffrey Bailey, Ph.D. is Director of Strategy at Openfields, a social impact consulting firm working with foundations, nonprofits, and universities, and is also Canon for Leadership Development in the Anglican Diocese of Christ Our Hope. Prior to this, he taught political theology at the University of Cambridge, and was a consultant with the Cambridge Interfaith Programme. He was also the Managing Director of the Centre for Social Justice, a policy think tank in London focused on poverty and economic opportunity, and informed by the Centre's alliance of poverty-fighting nonprofits across the UK. He is co-editor of the Eerdman’s Reader in Contemporary Political Theology, is a Senior Innovation Fellow with Leadership Foundations, and a member of the Ideas Council for the Initiative on Faith & Public Life at the American Enterprise Institute. He is a graduate of Duke University and Cambridge University, and lives with his wife and three children in Washington, DC.
