Kathy Pointer

Kathy Pointer has more than thirty years of operations management, fiscal management, project management, contract management, logistics management and administrative management experience.  She has managed multi-million-dollar professional services contracts for clients including the Centers for Disease Control, Center for Medicare and Medicaid, Food and Drug Administration, Environmental Protection Agency, Department of Health and Human Services and several institutes within the National Institutes of Health.  To support her work, she has led and managed diverse service support teams up to 50 staff, designed and developed a number on-boarding and staff training programs, led skills development and customer satisfaction programs; led development and implementation of community service projects and programs while holding executive leadership positons for minority owned consulting firms. 

Kathy is an advocate who loves what she does to help increase the quality of life for others. Over the past 20 years, she has immersed herself in identifying and delivering services to at-risk, high-risk, underserved and underprivileged populations. Realizing the need for collaboration for the greatest impact, she looks for opportunities to connect with others to do what she cannot do alone.  Kathy currently serves as Director of the Kingdom Care Senior Village, providing services to seniors in the SE Quadrant (Ward 8 (East of the River) of Washington DC and as Executive Director for Youth Now! a non-profit whose motto is “Strengthening Academics, Building Character, and Developing Leaders”. In addition, she is Owner and CEO of K E Pointer Enterprises, LLC and CBE Partners, LLC, providing a number of consulting, management, and business development services to Corporate and Small businesses, Non-Profits as well as Federal, State and Local Governments.
