CLS Luncheon - Civility in the Public Square

Western PA Christian Legal Soceity Chapter presents:

"Civility in the Public Square"

Christian faith demands a high view of human beings. If Christians are indeed called by God to steward our political communities, then we are also called to a kind of civic engagement that wisely assesses our political communities with the type of nuance that transcends binary liberal/conservative divides. Join us as we welcome Stephanie Summers, CEO of the Center for Public Justice and recent co-author of Unleashing Opportunity: Why Escaping Poverty Requires A Shared Vision of Justice, as she speaks with us about the importance of our work and our words in a deeply divided society.
