The Shared Justice Hatfield Prize, now in its seventh year, is named after Senator Mark O. Hatfield in honor of his legacy as a United States Senator from Oregon known for integrating his Christian faith and his public policy commitments.
The Hatfield Prize is designed to foster and advance Christian scholarship on today’s most complex social challenges. Awarded annually to three Christian student-faculty pairs, the Prize supports semester-long research, culminating in the publication of three policy reports.
